We have been watching the life cycle of a butterfly take place over the last few weeks and we now have 9 butterflies in class. The children were lucky enough to watch one of the butterflies emerge. We have given them their sugar water and some fresh fruit to help them build up strength before we release them in a couple of days. More photos to follow. The children have enjoyed watching them transform, emerge and flutter in their butterfly house. Take a look at us observing them below, all the children were brave and held a butterfly.
