We have been learning to write a simple set of instructions. We made Jam sandwiches and thought about the steps we needed to take to make an edible sandwich. We also practised spreading and cutting skills as well as considering the importance of hygiene when preparing food.
Butterfly release day...... We have been amazed watching the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly and we have learnt lots about the lifecycle. Unfortunately the sun wasn’t shining but we had to release the butterflies. We released them close to the trees and bushes so they had somewhere to land if they became tired. It was fascinating watching them warm up their wings ready to take their first flight.
We thoroughly enjoyed wearing our party clothes to school after Eid Mubarak had taken place. Many of families had a wonderful day celebrating and the children enjoyed sharing how they celebrated with their friends.
